So, the first movie of the year has been watched which means I need to set up the list. Last year I didn't make my 100 goal and I don't think such a goal should be set for this yeah. Maybe 75 or something. If even that. I want to read more!
This year I'm also going to try to use Letterboxd. If you use it, add me, I'm Pocki. If you want an invite I think I should have three or something.

And for some rules:

Eligible for the list
  • Movies released for cinema
  • Direct to dvd movies
  • TV movies
  • Movies watched with the commentary audio track on (will be marked with "commentary". Not eligible if I mostly just listened while doing other things)
  • Mini series (longer than 1.5hrs, shorter than 4hrs or three 1.5h parts)
  • Movies connected to tv shows (e.g. BSG's Razor or Stargate - The Ark of Truth)
  • Documentaries with a theatrical release (e.g. An Inconvinient Truth)
  • Concerts with a theatrical release (e.g. Rolling Stone's Shine A Light)
  • Stand-up shows that are feature length, professionally filmed and released on dvd

    Not eligible for the list
  • Mini series that are a part of a long running tv series (e.g. Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars)
  • Documentaries without a theatrical release
  • Concerts without a theatrical release
  • Stage shows (e.g. Cirque de Soleil or musicals, whether bootlegs or actual dvd releases)
  • Bootlegs of stand-up shows or shows shorter than 1:20h

I promised I would take pictures of my apartment and I'm sorry it's taken so long. I just haven't felt like it has been ready until a few days ago when I finally got curtains by the bed.

    So, here we go!Collapse )

I'm trying to clean out some stuff before I move (haven't gotten very far at all btw). It's SO HARD to leave some things. I know I will never use them ever again, but still. I just don't want to throw them away, and I barely want to give them to charity. It's hard to properly sell most of my stuff. So I turn to you.

If any of you (or someone you know) are interested in anything I list here and are willing to pay for shipping (anywhere) or come and get them, I will happily send them off to good loving homes.

As I said, this is far form everything. But for now there're movies and cds. Books will come. Possibly other things, like jewelry.

DVDs (unless otherwise stated, region 2)

  • Alex Rider - Stormbreaker
  • Armageddon
  • The Clacium Kid
  • Cause - The Birth of Hero (about the chinese movie)
  • Gangs of New York
  • King Kong (2 disc special edition)
  • Knocked Up (Swedish title/cover)
  • Shattered Glass (Swedish title/cover)
  • Star Wars ep III: Revenge of the Sith (2 disc special edition, region 1!)
  • Young Adam

    CDs

  • David Bowie - singles (2 discs)
  • Bob Dylan - Love and Theft (still in plastic. I love this album, but I got doubles)
  • Snow Patrol - Eyes Open
  • Queen - Made in Heaven (claimed by Therese!)
  • Matchbox 20 - Yourself Or Someone Like You
  • Patti Scialfa - Rumble Doll
  • Saybia - The Second You Sleep
  • eRa - eRa 2
  • Moulin Rouge 16 track soundtrack
  • Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (starring Jason Donovan)
  • House of Flying Daggers soundtrack
  • A Tribute to the Star Wars Saga episode 1 (performed by the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra)
  • Queer as Nervous - top club tracks from Queer as Folk
  • Spirit of Panpipe
  • Fire (Music of the Elements)

    Asian CDs
(some of these are what mad eme even write this list. They meant a lot to me once. I'm only keeping four of my VK albums. Those still in plastic have been opened)

  • Közi - Memento (in plastic w. obi) (also have the poster I got with, never unrolled more than to look at. Can't find a picture. It's the same outfit/hair/makeup as this but not that pic at all)
  • Közi - Izayoi no Tsuki (book with cd. SIGNED! by Közi himself)
  • Baiser - ~Terre~ (in plastic w. obi)
  • Shazna - Promise Eve
  • Dir en grey - Kisou (in plastic)
  • Silver Ash - Never End (in plastic)
  • Silver Ash - Out of Control (w. obi)
  • Silver Ash - Organum (w. obi)
  • Silver Ash - Pluma (Pluma is the fanclub. Fanclub only cd. They even spelt the band wrong on the disc)
  • Silver Ash pluma only video cd - 2005.4.17 Live (both this and the other Pluma cd don't have real covers, but those slim hard plastic ones)
  • what I think is Lucy form Silver Ash's first solo album. everything is in Chinese XD

I just want to say something about Silver Ash. They were a Chinese visual key band. The first actually. I remember how there was talk of the government not liking what they were doing and forcing to disband them to reform some pop band. Wikipedia says nothing about this but tbh I'm not surprised. I think I got almost all of these albums through some nice girl in China who knew someone close to the band. I also have a signed Silver Ash poster that's been framed and on my wall for a while. It's the promo poster (same as album cover) for "Out Of Control". It's signed by every member of the band.

While we're at it with the japanese and chinese stuff, a few books, manga and magazines:

  • Alice Addict: Mihara Mitsukaz Collection (w. obi… featuring Gackt for some unknown reason)
  • FRUiTS, the first book.
  • Paradise Kiss 1- 5 (manga. 1 + 5 have he purple covers, 2-4 have the monochrome covers with grey/white spine)
  • Under the Glass Moon 1 + 2 (manga)
  • Doll 1-3 (manga)
  • Gravitation 1- 5 (manga. I hav two copies of vol 1)
  • Alichino vol 1 (manga)
  • Gothic Lolita Bible vol. 5
  • Shoxx vol. 106 (from 2001, Malice Mizer w. Klaha on the cover)
  • That gothic lolita sewing magazine with patterns... can't remember the name. Vol 2.

Oh wth, while we're at it I'll list some of the Other Books I want to get rid of. The ones I can easily see rn. Sadly I'd think shipping far would cost as much as getting the used ones in a thrift shop, or even more.

  • Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke (new)
  • Graphic Design for the 21st century, a Taschen "Icons" book (new, it's one of the smaller Icons books btw. Not the huge ones)

So, last minute writing for scifiland's manifesto. I picked the easiest subject to write about: Aeryn Sun. Well, Farscape in general would've done nicely as well but I think I've done that already. PKW as well. So here we go, over 1000 words on why I love Aeryn.

I've been reading so much lately, and most of it has been new stuff. So to accompany the upcoming movie list I thought I'd make a list of upcoming books I want to read. And this is even more important than the movie list cause I don't see the books everywhere, whereas the movies show up in commas and as gifs etc.

    So yes.

Remember this spring when I made jewellery and started selling that stuff on Etsy? Yeah, finally I've updated to better pictures and made more things!

More Lord of the Rings but also Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and a few non geeky so to speak. Including teapots and instruments for certain people who requested that.
    And I made earrings!

Under the cut you'll find previews of all of it.
    The shop is here.
If you lovely flisters want to buy something (and can use Paypal or live in Sweden), just tell me and we will do it outside of Etsy (so I don't need to renew listings)

I am waiting for Who to download (even if it's 1 am I wanna watch it before bed. Caus eit's a Neil ep ffs) so have a random post with a poll!

I will most likely finish Naked Heat tomorrow and I need to start a new book (I actually think Olivia is making me read much more than before. I suppsoe that is slightly sad...) So I'm gonna let you guys choose for me! I promise that whichever of these books is winning at the time I am ready to pick up my next book, I will read.

Yep, you're only gonna get titles. No authors, no plots. You might recognize the titles though, who knows XD

Yep, going away, but you all probably know that by now.
If everything goes according to plan I'll start in NYC, then continue to barbarianwinter on Monday, back to NYC for the night on Friday and then Saturday morning to moveunderskies aaaand finally back to NYC for a couple of days before returning home.

I should have some internet access every now and then. And I have both an iPhone and iPad so if all else fails, there's always free wifi spots XD

I'll try to keep you updated a wee bit, probably mostly through Twitter though. But if you want anything, send me an email.

And don't spoil me for my shows, esp Fringe
The limited internet access means no downloads and no streaming (most probably). I might watch something at barbarianwinter's, but definitely not everything. I don't care that much about spoilers, but since we're entering May Sweeps I'd rather stay unspoiled. Again, this espeially concernes Fringe. I've seen some spoilers but with that show nothing is what it seems. So try to be nice and warn and use cuts and stuff yeah? I obviously won't be checking tumblr though, so spam that to your heart's content XD

I will probably pop up at scifiland, can't leave all of you for two weeks *laugh* But I'm vacationing from my mod duties.

Okay, that's it. Everyone keep your fingers crossed the transportation tomorrow morning/all day will be without a hitch and that I'll come back home again in one piece.
